5.30 – 6.30 pm
Join the PLAYBABES for their After Work-Out series at TROPEZ this summer on July 11th and August 8th. From 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, enjoy an hour-long workshop open to all, featuring physical activities & opportunities for reflection. Each session will delve into a different practice, led by sport experts, providing a collective and relaxed exploration in the athletic world.
Yoggaton
Yoggaton is a movement practice, a bridge between Yoga and Reggaeton. In the classes and workshops participants warm up their body with a combination of yoga postures, conscious breathing and perreo. The idea is to connect with the sensuality, pleasure and divinity of the body without prejudice, allowing us to feel what this combination brings to the surface. It is an intersectional methodology that includes decolonial strategies, intersectional feminism, spirituality and perreo as tools for empowerment and creation of new narratives with and from the body.
About the curators
PLAYBABE is a non-profit organisation that raises money for feminist causes through the production of (erotic-)calendars and charity events. The project was founded in 2022 by Lucy Owen Jones and Aurélia Majean.
The project is strongly inspired by erotic calendars and aims to reclaim power over the cultural representation of women. The PLAYBABES are at the heart of the project, ensuring that each image is the result of a mutual dialogue about how the women want to be represented and what elements of their empowerment are important. The project is characterised by sisterhood, as the calendar is sold to raise money for the chosen organisation. Each year a different organisation is supported that deals with a specific feminist topic. To further contribute to the mission, fundraising events are organised and merchandise is offered in addition to the calendar.
