The underwater performance Selfish Shellfish: The Aquatic Ape explores the idea that the ancestors of modern humans were aquatic and as such habitual swimmers and divers. The audience will dive into an almost unknown part of human‘s history around and in the public pool.

Monster Chetwynd (*1973, Glasgow) is a British artist interested in theater and popular culture, legends and surrealist cinema, handmade costumes and props. Her paintings, videos, installations and performances are characterized by subtle humour and she mostly works with amateur actors.
