GOT: Walk of Shame

Cersei Lannister, the blond queen, has to do the walk of shame. She has to go naked through the whole city. Her hair will be cut short, like 5 milimetres, and everybody is allowed to insult her, call her names, to shame her in any way, or to throw rotten fruits at her. She has to do it because she slept with her cousin, and the religious people––they are very powerful. Also, she has to hide that she slept with her brother, too, and that the father of her children is not the king, but her own brother Jamie! The walk of shame is also a path back into her past, and we hear a lot about her love life, her marriage, and her father, and we realize: it’s all very different than we expected, and that we are all born naked but the rest is drag!

Dany is a blond princess who is hiding far away from home in a rough country like Afghanistan. This is the story of how she is sold, raped, and married to a brute man, and then how the whole story turns into a kind of horrible love story, and how she becomes the most powerful hero of the last ten years with three dragons even though dragons do not exist, and why all men must die.

GOT: The imp

I’m not guilty of what I'm accused, I'm not guilty of killing king Geoffrey, though I liked to see the vicious bastard die. I'm guilty of a far more monstrous crime: I'm guilty of being a dwarf. In the best scene of the whole series, the antihero Tyrion uses a very desperate situation to declaim a fantastic and very brave speech against discrimination. His courage even attracts other mysterious people who seek justice and have hidden motives, like his brother Jamie and the Prince of Dorne Oberyn Martell...

GOT: Winter is Coming

This is the story of a wild forbidden amour fou between Igrid, a female wildling, and the bastard Jon Snow, who is also a member of the nights watch, and who has sworn an oath never to touch a girl. The fact that his duty is actually to hunt down Wildlings and to kill them adds to the more and more complex situation. Igrid knows much more about love, and about life, too, and so it happens that Jon stars to learn new stuff. There is a lot going on in the north anyway. There are giants and mamooot, there is a lot of mysticism, there are the children of the night and of the forest, and there is Hodor and the Seven-eyed Raven and his Brother Bran who sits in a wheelchair, and there is a whole army of crazy Zombies, not to mention the night king. Jon finds out that the Zombies are gathering and that there is a long night to come.... 


Das Helmi Puppet Theatre was founded by Florian Loycke, Emir Tebatebai and Brian Morrow in Berlin in 2001. Das Helmi is based in Ballhaus Ost, has six permanent members, four permanent guests, and many other colourful famous occasional guests.
