Dance and Movement workshop

In this 6-day dance and movement workshop, children and adolescents aged 10-12 years create their own group choreography. Together with Deva Schubert and Dylan Spencer-Davidson, they explore concepts surrounding self-confidence, identity, performativity and resistance. Based on music videos and gestures of care, they developed a choreographic language that expresses their subjective and emotional experiences.

The piece resulting from the workshop, titled Age of majority, is performed on Saturday, July 13th, 2019 as part of AMOUR.
