From the many performances, operas and concerts of the music theater collective HAUEN & STECHEN some remains and memories have got inevitably stuck. In a small series of aperitivo music, such remnants are collected and also scattered again: "music for a while"...
For the third edition, Robert Lemberg and Franziska Kronfoth sing songs from old theatre productions, interspersed and accompanied by piano bar music.
Franziska Kronfoth deals intensively with the artwork of opera and the surrounding structures and explores in her work the relationship between performance, visual arts, acting and the musical theatre. She pays particular attention to film and video in her theatre work. Since 2005 she has realised numerous productions, including Notre Carmen after Georges Bizet, Brecht's Der gute Mensch von Sezuan, Tristan und Isolde, Isolde, Isolde after Richard Wagner and Gottfried von Strasbourg, versions of Giulio Cesare, Siegfried, Rigoletto and the Matthäus-Passion. Most recently, an opera film was made in Riga for the Latvian national opera Baņuta by Alfrēds Kalniņš.
With the music theatre collective HAUEN & STECHEN, which she founded with Julia Lwowski in 2012, she has created numerous joint works, including for the Bavarian State Opera, the Potsdam Sanssouci Music Festival, the Volksbühne Berlin, the Hamburg State Opera, the Sophiensäle Berlin and the Théâtre de l'Athénée Paris.
Franziska Kronfoth studied directing at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. In 2013, she was awarded the Elsa-Neumann-Scholarship of the State of Berlin as a young artist for her project LULU/NANA. She was also a scholarship holder at the Academy Musiktheater heute and received research scholarships from the State of Berlin and the Federal Cultural Foundation.
