Between the kiosk and the terrace, Zhao Chongjin's eddy the Body is hanging in the branches of a large tree. The sculpture consists of several individual whirls and at first glance resembles a cross between a dragon and an ant. A small roof protects the creature from bad weather. Behind the figure stands the wisdom of Confucianism, an ancient Chinese moral teaching: the organism symbolises the wonder of nature, the perfection of the body and the flow of life. Thus, every part of the little being works together harmoniously and the roof of the same colour enables it to exist in the outdoor pool. The visitors are reminded that something as fragile as eddy the Body can exist in such a turbulent and moving environment. Its colour is reminiscent of the recurring red of the outdoor pool architecture. This suggests that the creature may even origin from the place and thrive in the conditions here.
