Am Kiosk verbindet Maria Giovanna Drago mit ihrer Fensterinstallation Wallscape / Muro (2021) Innen und Außen. Die blaugemusterte Fensterfolie auf den Kioskfenstern ist ein Abdruck ihrer Atelierwand in Griechenland. Die Frottage hat sie auf transparente Folie übertragen und die Folie wiederum auf die Fenster des TROPEZ, die sie wie eine neue Haut umhüllt.

At the kiosk, Maria Giovanna Drago's window installation Wallscape / Muro (2021) connects inside and outside. The blue-patterned window foil on the kiosk windows is an imprint of the wall of her studio in Greece. She transferred the frottage to the transparent foil, and the foil in turn to the TROPEZ windows as a new skin that wraps them.

Maria Giovanna Dragos (*1984, Athen, GR) Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem hybriden Raum zwischen Fotografie und Malerei, mit einer besonderen Konzentration für die materielle Komponente und Oberflächen. Ihre Arbeiten wurden im Mhuka in Antwerpen, im Goethe-Institut Athen und in weiteren Gruppenausstellungen in Mailand und Wien gezeigt. 

Maria Giovanna Drago's (b. 1984, Athens, GR) work explores the hybrid space between photography and painting, with a particular focus for the material component and surfaces. Her work has been shown at Mhuka in Antwerp, Goethe-Institut Athens and in other group exhibitions in Milan and Vienna.
