Alex Tatarsky, born in 1989, lives and works in New York and Philadelphia (USA). Tatarsky’s performances lie at the intersection of comedy, dance theatre, performance art and improvised speech, often complemented by music. Their works combine humour, theatrical transformation and improvisation, navigating the boundaries between absurdity, fiction and reality. Their work has recently been shown at venues including MoMA PS1 (New York, USA), the Whitney Museum of American Art (New York, USA), The Kitchen (New York, USA), Gibney Dance (New York, USA), La MaMa (New York, USA) and Jacob’s Pillow (Becket, USA).
